MAY 8 OFFICE UPDATE
For the latest update on the COVID-19 situation and it's affect on the upcoming EDSA outdoor season, please see the May 8th memo.
Thanks to everyone who took our 2020 Outdoor Season survey.
**NOTE** Despite the City of Edmonton announcement that sport fields are open for casual use, it is important to remember that the Government of Alberta orders regarding social distancing and gathering size (no more than 15 people) are still in place. Also, the Canada Soccer order to suspend all soccer activities, including games and practices, is still in place. Anyone violating these orders is risking fines or suspension. Please maintain safe practices so that you stay healthy, prevent the spread of COVID-19 and so that we can get back to playing sooner than later.
OUTDOOR 2020 INFORMATION
As we continue to prepare for the 2020 outdoor season, we are looking for ways to ease some of the uncertainty that many of our members are facing. On a bi-weekly basis, we will be meeting with representatives of the Alberta Soccer Association and other districts around the province to develop contingencies should the COVID-19 pandemic stretch further into the summer months.
In an effort to reduce the amount of unnecessary social contact for our members and staff, the EDSA has arranged with Moneris to now take payments over the phone. The EDSA will not be storing credit card information and will only take the payment information over the phone, processing the transaction immediately with the caller. If you require any further clarification or information, please contact us at your convenience.
